| I still believe in two meals a day and two miles of walking. It is a good plan for an old man. Every day we eat, we sleep, we bathe, we read, we watch TV; so why don't we walk? Let's face it, we are lazy. |
| Please note: I walk most evenings at 10:00 pm. If you come to the square, and I'm not there, please don't get the "BOOS" (bent out of shape). Just walk by yourself. It's perfectly safe. |
IT'S TIME TO GET OUT OF THE RECLINER
AND DO IT! The Mister Joe Courthouse Stroll
is now operating Monday through Friday evenings
and most weekends. Join with Mister Joe at
BANTER each weeknight at 10:00 pm to begin a
walk of four times around the square for exercise
and for catching up on all of the local gossip. You
really don't need to be at home watching the
evening news (that you have already seen at an
earlier hour). It is depressing and totally without
anything that your mind and body need. So - get
your butt out of the recliner and offer Mister Joe
some company during this time. You may say, "I
don't want to walk around town with an old man at
10:00 pm. What will other people think?" They
won't think about it at all, because they'll be at
home watching the news. It is time to rise up and
take action. There can be no more excuses!!
